Can I use an Apple Gift Card for in-app purchases?

Yes, Apple Gift Cards are a convenient and safe way to purchase apps, games, and in-app purchases from the App Store. It can even use it to pay for subscriptions such as iCloud storage, or music, movies, and books from iTunes, Apple TV and Apple Books.

Are Apple Gift Card transferable or can they only be used by the recipient?

Apple Gift Cards are transferable in the sense that they may be given to another person as a gift prior to being redeemed. However, once the Apple Gift Card has been redeemed to an Apple ID or account, the gift cards value will be credited to that specific Apple ID or account, and cannot be transferred to another Apple ID or account after redemption

Are Apple iTunes Gift Cards region-specific?

Apple Gift Cards are region-specific and can only be used in the region where they were purchased, so be sure to check your account region before purchase. Currently, ScratchMonkeys only holds Apple Gift Cards compatible with US and CA accounts only. If you want to use it in another region, you will need to buy a Apple Gift Card tied to that region.

Can Apple Gift Card be used to buy physical products?

Yes, you can use an Apple Gift Card to purchase most physical products and accessories from the Apple Store. However, there are some exceptions to this from time to time, so it's always a good idea to check the terms and conditions before completing a purchase of a physical item with your Apple gift card

Can I reload or add funds to an Apple Gift Card?

No, it is not possible to reload or add funds to an existing Apple Gift Card. Once the value of the Apple Gift Card has been fully redeemed or used, it cannot be reloaded or topped up with additional funds. If you wish to add more funds to your Apple ID balance, you can purchase a new Apple digital gift card

Do Apple Gift Cards expire?

Apple Gift Cards do not have an expiration date. They can be redeemed at any time and will remain valid until the entire amount has been used.

Are Apple Gift Card and iTunes Gift Card the same?

Apple has replaced the old App Store & iTunes gift card with the all new Apple gift card. So now you can use one card for everything Apple, including purchases from App Store, iTunes and other services. You can even use it to buy Apple products from Apple stores.

How do I redeem my Apple gift card?

Once purchased, you will be able to view the digital code in your customer account. From here you can select "Click to Scratch" to reveal a 16-digit code that you can redeem with your Apple device. Can I send an Apple gift card to someone else?

Sending an Apple gift card to someone else is really easy. Simply navigate to "My Orders" in your account. You should see your order ID and a button that says "(# of items purchased) Unscratched". Click on "Unscratched" and it will lead you to view your card. Then, click "Send as a gift" and enter the recipient details.
